East Franklin's Girls on the Run team completed a 5K last weekend. We are proud of the girls and thankful for their coaches and running buddies. Congratulations girls!

There are three reminders in this message.
First, all students will begin end of year assessments this week. Students have been learning a lot this year. Encourage them to show what they know. Secondly, spring picture packets or payments are due. Thirdly, bus 163 will be running in the afternoons only.
We will have a new traffic pattern starting this afternoon for car riders due to the construction on Lakeside Dr and Watauga St. and it will continue until construction is finished. Everyone must take Dan St. to enter and leave the school. If a student is to be picked up early, please park in the main parking lot.

Literacy Week is this week, March 25th-28th. Please come and enjoy your child's event during the day. We will also have a dress-up week to celebrate reading and their hard work.
Picture Day is tomorrow, March 21st.
Individual spring pictures as well as class pictures will be taken. Class pictures must be pre-ordered by tomorrow morning and the cost is $10.
Book Fair Family Night is Tuesday, March 19th, from 3:30 pm -6:00 pm. Come on out and shop for books as a family tomorrow after school!
Thursday, March 21st is spring and class picture day. Class pictures must be prepaid and are ten dollars.

Tomorrow, March 12th @ 5:30 in the art room we will be having our monthly PTO meeting. We will also stream the meeting online if you would like to join virtually. We hope to see you there!
