MCS Free Summer Meals Schedule
Before you head into full summer mode, please make sure to complete your Online Registration (OLR) for the upcoming school year. Have a great summer!
We appreciate our PTO! We need PTO board members for the next school year. A few of amazing members who have served on PTO will not be at EFS next year.

Today's the last day of school until the new school year begins in August. Schools out forever for a few of our teachers who have devoted many years serving our students and school. We wish Mrs. Watson, Mrs. Brendle, and Mrs. Ortiz all the best in retirement!

Every day, Mrs. Anna goes above and beyond to keep our school clean, safe, welcoming, and running smoothly for students, staff, and families. From early mornings to late afternoons, her hard work, kindness, and dedication are an essential part of our school family.
Thank you for everything you do to support our students and staff each day.

Students have worked hard taking EOG tests this week, we are proud of them! All students were able to bring home a new free book today thanks to your support with the Books Are Fun event. Several students won prizes from the PBIS raffle drawings today. Next week is the last week of school but we have Field Day adventures still to come on Wednesday and Thursday. This weekend is a three day weekend due to the Memorial Day holiday. We will see students on Tuesday, May 26th.

Bus 28 will not run tomorrow (5/22/26). We apologize for the inconvenience.
If your child is in 3rd or 4th grade, please note that state testing will begin on Tuesday, May 19th with Reading and continue on Wednesday, May 20th with Math. Please help your child arrive at school on time each day and ensure they have eaten breakfast before testing. Thank you for your continued support!

Bus 28 will not run today (5/15/26). We apologize for the short notice.
Students are still working hard as we countdown the final weeks of school. 3rd and 4th grade students will be taking End of Grade tests on May 19th and May 20th. Please help us to encourage all students to be on their best behavior and keep working hard.
We have a few incentives such as earning red PAWSOME tickets for meeting expectations. The tickets are chances to win prizes such as free ice cream, scooters, Legos, etc.
Field Day is a special two-hour outdoor celebration the last week of school, so we encourage all students to be respectful, responsible, and ready to learn so they can enjoy the full FUN! Students can earn their chance to participate in Field Day by showing positive behavior and meeting expectations in PE, Art, Music, Library, and Guidance classes. Each student starts with the word “FUN” and every time expectations are not met, they will lose one letter. If a student loses two letters, they will miss part of Field Day. If all three letters are lost, they will not be able to participate in Field Day.
It's hard to believe the school year is almost over! It brings us joy to see our students experience success and grow academically each year.

During Teacher Appreciation Week, we truly felt the love and support from our amazing PTO. The PTO board members organized and sponsored treats everyday along with donations from local churches, businesses, and community members. Your kindness, generosity, and thoughtful gestures meant so much to our teachers and staff.
Thank you for the meals, treats, gifts, encouraging words, and countless acts of appreciation that reminded our staff how valued they are. Your support helps make our school community stronger and encourages our educators as they continue pouring into the lives of students each day.
We are incredibly grateful for the EFS PTO and community partnerships that make our school such a special place. Thank you for loving and supporting our teachers and staff!! ❤️🍎
