Grad Walk will be on Monday. All graduating seniors visit and have the opportunity to walk the halls of their elementary schools for one last time! We are very excited about celebrating them! If your student has a special senior feel free to make a poster or sign for your child to hold. We would also love to see students dressed in the school colors! Our high schools are red or navy blue.

Our kids have had many great opportunities, and learned so much during Black History Month. Onesia Cleveland visited our 3rd and 4th grade students. She came dressed as Sojourner Truth, and performed Truth's "Ain't I a Woman". Students also had the opportunity to learn traditional African dances from guests Sarah Shepherd and Gabby Wang. In art students have learned about Nick Cave's work. They created Soundsuit Dancers and tribal masks. Music class gave students an opportunity to learn about and listen to many African American musicians.
