Bus 26. Although none of our EFS students were involved in a bus accident yesterday, the driver was. Therefore, bus 26 will not be running this afternoon (9/1), tomorrow morning (9/2), or tomorrow afternoon (9/2) while the driver recovers. Thank you for your understanding.
Tomorrow is the 1st day of school! We are excited to see and welcome students. Doors open at 7:30. You may walk your child to class the first week of school if you'd like to. Please have your ID for checking in at the front entry if you do want to walk them to class.
Car rider line begins loading at 3:05 and buses load around 3:25. All buses for EFS students have drivers and are running.
Please allow extra time for drop-off and pick-up the first week of school until everyone gets into back into routine, cars and buses will take more time. The procedures will become routine again and lines will get shorter. Please abide by the procedures that we have in place for safety. If you have a car rider tag from a previous year with your child or children's names then you may use it. If you do not have a tag you must pick up your child in the front office with your ID once the car rider line has ended at 3:20. If you see buses in the outer loop of the parking lot, then car rider pick up has ended and you are required to pick up at the front office with ID.

This is the school district platform used for school registration and student information. This account provides access to grades, attendance, and personal information. Please note that if you have not completed OLR (online registration) for the for your student for the upcoming school year, you will not be able to view your child's assigned classroom teacher.
Classroom assignments are only available by looking on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. We appreciate our PTO! We need PTO board members for the next school year. A few of amazing members who have served on PTO will not be at EFS next year.
Today's the last day of school until the new school year begins in August. Schools out forever for a few of our teachers who have devoted many years serving our students and school. We wish Mrs. Watson, Mrs. Brendle, and Mrs. Ortiz all the best in retirement!
The sun came out and so did the kids! ☀️ Thank you Mrs. Padgett, Ms. Braswell, PTO, and volunteers for making Field Day a blast!
Field Day schedule remains the same and we are planning for outdoor fun as planned.
Field Day reminders:
Girls- Shorts and a shirt are required at all times. A bathing suit may be worn under clothes but shorts and a shirt must be worn at all times.
Boys- swimming trunks are allowed but a shirt must be worn at all times.
NO BUTTONS or ZIPPERS on clothing. These items can tear the water slide or bounce house
Hat if desired.
Shoes that are easy to take off and put on and safe to play in water with. NO FLIP FLOPS- They are not safe. Sandals that have straps on the back, water shoes and tennis shoes are preferred.
Bring a dry change of clothes including underwear, towel and a bag for the wet clothes.
Sunscreen- Teachers are not allowed to apply sunscreen to students.
We will have a waterslide, fire truck, bounce house, snacks and more!
